Robert, with a lifetime of experience in the entertainment business,  Co-Founded VIAM with his wife Jo in 2009.  They select the content for each show between them. Jo takes care of the performance, rehearsing and directing the talented children and Choir, whilst Robert takes care of the look and production values of the show.

Robert Garofalo has over 30 years experience as a Director, Writer and Producer in the entertainment business.

He has written and directed more than 500 documentaries, produced over 200 hours of TV programming and produced and directed countless live concerts for film and telvision. During his career, he has also directed a multi-million dollar feature film; and written screenplays for many others.The Internet Movie Database link on the left shows a small collection of one hundred or more of these films.

His films have been seen on ITV, The BBC, PBS, C4, C5, The Disney Channel, Sky Arts, Fox TV, The History Channel, The Biography Channel, Performance TV and today, Sony Entertainment run his films daily on their Movies4Men Film Channel on Sky.

He has worked with Some of Britain’s finest actors and talents on his films, including Christpher Lee, Irene Handl, Dudley Moore, Beryl Reid, Joss Ackland, Richard Todd, Tom Baker, Edward Woodwood, Donald Pleasance, Oliver Reed, John Mills, James Fox, Michael Caine, Michael York and Jeremy Irons.

He has produced and directed shows and films with comedy greats and entertainers, such as Jim Davidson, Joe Pasquale, Norman Wisdom, Warren Mitchell, Spike Milligan, Freddie Starr, Max Bygraves, Harry Secombe, Roy Castle, Mike Reid,

He is perhaps best known for his countless films with musicians. His very first music film with Dame Vera Lynn (Songs That Won The War) was number one in the Music Video Charts for a number of weeks in 1994 and sold in excess of 500,000 copies; and has since been broadcast worldwide.
