We have often thought of introducing an element of a talent contest into VIAM. Well now we have, and a talent contest where everyone can be a winner. With the help of some generous sponsors, we are holding a number of contests every month, with some amazing prizes. Anyone can enter, from any country ( we already have entries from the Philippines, the USA and Cuba; and there are numerous categories to cater for anyone with a musical talent., including choirs of course.
The process is simple, you send us your Vimeo or Youtube video link and a short introduction. Once your entry is live on the site, every time your friends or family share your video, it counts as one vote. There are no Judges, no Critics and its FREE. The video with the highest number of votes at the closing date of each contest wins. Its as simple as that Votes can also be carried forward to later contests.
In addition we are offering the opportunity to have your own artist page or pages, with a sophisticated web presence. This can include videos, audio tracks, photos, details of gigs, events and tickets, releases on CD, a download store, live streaming and your very own fan club. So whether you win the contest or not, you can kickstart your career as an artist; and start getting paid for your talent. We provide the stage, you provide the talent.
