Band recording at Shepperton Film Studios
The Voice In A Million band will be laying down tracks all week here at the Voice In A Million HQ. Adam Wakeman has put together a stella line-up of musicians to bring those wonderful tracks to life. Here some more info on the musicians:
Lee Pomeroy (Bass)
On the one hand, he has made a name for himself playing with one of the greats of progressive rock, Rick Wakeman, in the English Rock Ensemble. On the other, he is the regular touring bass player with the hugely successful boy band Take That. Hardly surprising, then, that a player of such obvious versatility is fast becoming one of the UK’s most sought-after session men
Giles Palmer (Guitar)
As a Session Guitarist Giles has toured the USA, Asia, Europe and Australia, performed on over 100 T.V shows as well as appearing in pop videos, on radio shows and countless studio recordings. Not only did he tutor Dido on guitar he has also worked with; Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Take That, Craig David, All Saints, Artful Dodger and Westlife to name a few.
Richard Brook (Drums)
Richard has worked with a host of renowned artists and played in the hit West End musical Rent. Richard has also worked live and in the studio with numerous current pop acts including Victoria Beckham and Avril Lavigne. He has also worked live with Go West, Roger Daltry, Rick/Adam Wakeman and Acoustic Alchemy. Richard’s television credits include Top Of The Pops, CD:UK, SM:TV, T4, GMTV, Pop Factory and more.
