Unbelievably VIAM2019 will mark our 10 year anniversary. What started out as a simple idea to record a song with 30 children, has turned into an annual event with close to 150,000 children taken part to date. Our first two shows were at the O2 Arena in 2010 and 2011. But with the 2012 Olympics taking up most of the London event space, we moved to the legendary Wembley Arena; and this has been home to Voice in a Million ever since.
In 2015, due to the demand, we moved to staging two nights back to back; and have done this every year since…VIAM2019 will be no different with both the 20th and 21st March starting to fill up, with 185 schools booked to take part already.
Every year we endevour to make the show a bigger spectacle than the year before;and for those that have seen our show before, we are sure you will agree that we live up to the billing ‘the world’s most spectacular school concert’. VIAM2019, being our 10th Anniversary concert will be bigger and more spectacular than ever. Designs for staging and lighting are already underway, as are designs for the 2019 T Shirt.
Since 2014 we have also featured one or two guest artists, more for the benefit of the children taking part, to make it a night they remember for many years, so who will be performing at VIAM2019 ? …we will be releasing details of the guests later in the year.
