Auditions are now finally open for anyone wishing to try out for Wembley or one of our Regional shows; and applications are also now being accepted if you think you have what it takes to join V8.
Auditions for Wembley will be kicking off at the LG Arena event in October, where we will have six video audition booths set up on the main concourse. These auditions will open at 3pm and continue until 6.30pm. Slots are available to book, and you will need to sing one verse and one chorus from our current Arena repertoire, which you can access via this site.
Auditions for our REgional shows are also now open; and hopeful applicants will need to register, download one of our Christmas tracks and record themselves. Either post it on Youtube or any other video site and send us a link to view, or send us a file of the video as an attachment by email. (we were considering opening the site to accept uploads direct, but have been advised not to; as there is always the risk that somebody might see this as an opportunity to upload something that contains a nasty virus..or possibly worse)
Finally the auditions are now also open for the new V8 Member. Again these will be initially in the form of an email attachment with a video. We will then select our shortlist of the best and post them in our V8 Gallery. Those selected will be invited to audition with the current line up of V8 at the LG in Birmingham, during the day’s rehearsals.
